Ami dreamed of leaving Earth to travel to the stars.

But forgot, on some level, that all the places she was going to go were going to be filled with the same things that made Earth so frustrating: humans.  Stupid, oily, paranoid thoughtless humans who wanted to make her into a doll again.  And if she would not become a doll, they would make her into parts for their machines.  Become their fantasies or become their tools.

Like hell, she thought, having no fear of a Hell because she wanted no place in a human religion's worldview.

Like hell.

Realized that my composition with the first version of this was off a little.  This one still isn't perfect, but I think it's better.

I just hate feeling like people aren't properly centered in a frame that's meant to center on them.
